PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoresis display device having stable display quality and memory properties by suppressing adhesion of charged migration particles to a wall or controlling memory properties. SOLUTION: The electrophoresis display device has a pair of substrates, at least one electrode formed on at least one substrate, electrophoretic particles interposed between the substrates, and a dispersion medium in which the electrophoretic particles are dispersed. The electrophoretic particles and the dispersion medium are included in a plurality of fine containers and at least one part of the wall of the fine container with which the electrophoretic particles and the dispersion medium come in contact comprises an electrostatic charge controlling agent.
