<p>Electric tow bar circuit for heavy vehicle incorporates, in front of tow bar, plug(s) (3a, 3b) fixed to tow bar to establish electric linkage with tractor vehicle, a first junction system between cable (s) (4a, 4b) between plug and multi-conductor extension lead (11) extending to back of tow bar, and a second junction system provided at back of tow bar between extension lead and several shunts to different lights or electric components. An electric tow bar circuit for a heavy vehicle incorporates, in front of the tow bar, at least one plug (3a, 3b) fixed to the tow bar to establish electric linkage with the tractor vehicle, a first junction system between at least one cable (4a, 4b) between the plug and a multi-conductor extension lead (11) extending to the back of the tow bar, and a second junction system provided at the back of the tow bar between the extension lead and several shunts to different lights or electric components. The extension lead is equipped, at least one of its ends, with a first connection part (12a, 13a) incorporating a mechanical locking mechanism with a second connection part (12b, 13b) provided on one or several connection cables and incorporating a conjugate mechanical locking mechanism, and an over-molding (18a, 19a) is provided around the entry for the cable of the connection part and the one or more cables, to provide sealing and mechanical strength. An independent claim is also included for a connection device between the front and back parts of an electric towing circuit for a heavy vehicle.</p> |
