PURPOSE: A sealing structure for a compressor, and a method for assembling the same are provided to improve the assembly efficiency by fixing an assembling position of a sealing member by an adhesive layer, and reduce the manufacturing cost by forming the sealing member in simple shape and by using an inexpensive material. CONSTITUTION: A circular ring-shaped sealing member(111) has flat upper and lower surfaces. An adhesive layer(112) is attached to the upper or lower surface of the sealing member. The sealing member attached with the adhesive layer is interposed between commissures to fix an assembling position of the sealing member. Cylinder blocks(21,22) and heads are assembled into a compressor.
