The machine for producing and projecting subliming solid particles (16) such as frozen carbon-dioxide gas has a source for the particles and a pressuriser in which the particles are screened and propelled via a throwing disc (5) toward one or other projector. The source for the particles has a container (10) to receive the particles or blocks of frozen gas (16) and a feed for metered supply of the particles.
