The disk (20) has a spiral track including digital information that indicate a signal read by a reading head of a compact disk drive apparatus (10), transcribed on the track. The signal includes a data defining a position of the read head on the disk in a univocal manner. The information is transcribed corresponding to a digital audio signal with two channels that are constituted by a progression of crossing sample values. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a process of testing a compact disk drive apparatus (b) a device for testing a compact disk drive apparatus.
