METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING INVALID CLICKS ON INTERNET SEARCH ENGINE BY USING SITE IDENTIFIER

PURPOSE: A method and a device for detecting invalid clicks on an Internet search engine are provided to detect the invalid clicks for a search item included in a search result web page offered from an Internet search engine server, and detect and promptly meet an attempt to dishonestly increase a click number for the search item. CONSTITUTION: If a searcher clicks the search item included in the search result web page, various parameters associated with the click are inputted to a parameter input part(304). If the searcher requests the search to the Internet search engine server, a search request packet is transferred to the Internet search engine server from a client terminal. The Internet search engine server extracts an IP(Internet Protocol) address of a search terminal by extracting a source IP address from the search request packet. An invalid click pattern storage(306) stores an invalid click pattern or a rule. An invalid click judging part(309) judges that the click of the searcher is the invalid click based on a log stored in a log storage(305) and the invalid click pattern stored in the invalid click pattern storage.
