摘要 PURPOSE: Provided is a polynucleotide, as a diol dehydratase gene cluster of Listeria genus, which has the nucleotide sequence SEQ ID NO:1 or 6 and encodes diol dehydratase activity. And a vector containing the same and a transformed host cell are also provided. Therefore, the diol dehydratase gene associated with production of 1,3-propanediol is easily produced, wherein 1,3-propanediol is useful for production of polyester fiber, polyurethane and cyclic compounds using microorganism. CONSTITUTION: The polynucleotide, as the diol dehydratase gene cluster of Listeria genus, has the nucleotide sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 1 or SEQ ID NO:6 and encodes diol dehydratase activity. A vector containing the polynucleotide of SEQ ID NO:1 or SEQ ID NO:6 is provided. A host cell is transformed with the vector containing the polynucleotide of SEQ ID NO:1 or SEQ ID NO:6, wherein the transformed host cell is Escherichia coli(KCCM-10468) or Escherichia coli(KCCM-10469).
