The forceps (1) has two pivoting branches (2, 3) with respective distal ends having a gripping jaw. A central portion of each branch is enlarged for facilitating the grasping and usage of the forceps. Two blades extend between the branches, symmetrical on either side of an axis. The blades serve to bring back the branches in an open position. A sleek rectilinear rod extends between the blades, perpendicular to the axis. An independent claim is also included for a process of manufacturing of forceps.
