PURPOSE: A method for selling goods using contents as sales promotion and the method for using the sales promotion are provided to enable a seller to promote goods sales by raising a purchase desire of a customer as the contents are offered as the sales promotion, and enable a buyer to use the contents without pay. CONSTITUTION: An operating site communicating with the contents issues/offers a free-pass number allowing free use of the contents to the sellers, and the sellers writes the information such as the free-pass number, a using method, and an operating site address to the goods. The goods are sold to the customer. The customer connects to the operating sire and the operating site outputs a connection screen for free connection. The customer inputs the free-pass number written on the bought goods to a number input widow and the operating site judges the corresponding contents with the free-pass number inputted from the customer. Depending on a judgment, the contents are automatically connected and the customer uses the contents free.
