PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect fine peaks overlapped in a leading part or a tailing part of a large peak. SOLUTION: Two inflection points C1, C2 are found in the leading part or the tailing part of the large peak P1, and a straight line connecting both inflection points C1, C2 is settled as a reference line when found. A tangential line is drawn in each point on a peak curve, and a position where an inclination of the tangential line formed with respect to the reference line comes to a value preset by an analytical person or more is determined as a start point P2S of the fine peak P2, and a point where an inclination of the tangential line formed with respect to the reference line comes to the set value or less in a rear side thereof is determined as an end point P2E. The fine peak is surely detected thereby even when a curve is not turned from an increase to a decrease or from the decrease to the increase in the leading part or the tailing part.
