PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet cover device wherein a tilted toilet cover covers the approximate whole of the upper surface of a case such as a seat box or the like to prevent dust or dirt to come into a space between the toilet cover and the case and a detection sensor of the human body can be incorporated. SOLUTION: The seat box 21 is disposed at the rear upper surface of a western style toilet 20 and the seat 23 is attached to the front of the seat box 21 through a spindle 22 to be turned up-and-down. The toilet cover 24 is attached to the rear upper edge of the seat box 21 through a spindle 25 to be turned up-and-down. The spindle 25 is inserted in an aperture 24b of a pendent flap 24a. A sensor unit 26 is attached to a pointed head of the spindle 25. The toiled cover 24 covers the whole of the upper surface of the seat box 21 and there is no space for dust or dirt to come in when the toilet cover 24 is closed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
