INK JET PRINTER CAPABLE OF COMPENSATING FOR HEATER DEVIATION AND COMPENSATION METHOD FOR HEATER DEVIATION

PURPOSE: An ink jet printer capable of compensating for heater deviation and compensation method for heater deviation are provided to constantly control heater current passing through a printer heater. CONSTITUTION: An ink jet printer includes a printer system section(100) and a head section(200). The printer system section(100) controls an operation of an ink jet printer and selectively drives a printer heater(220) provided in the head section(200) based on print data. The head section(200) applies heater current to the printer heater(220). Thermal energy is generated from the printer heater(220) due to the heater current applied to the printer heater(220). Thermal energy generated from the printer heater(220) heats ink, thereby creating bubbles in an ink path. The printer system section(100) includes a power feeding section(110), a DC/DC converting section(120), a heater control section(130) and a current detecting section(140).
