PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device, a signal processing method of the optical pickup device, and an optical pickup system, in which influence of variation of ejected laser power on an RF signal is eliminated or reduced without changing a laser structure or changing read power. SOLUTION: In an optical pickup device 2, which condenses light ejected from a laser 11 on an optical disc using an object lens and performs read/write of data from/into the optical disc, a signal processing circuit 19 has a photo-detector 18 that receives the light reflected from the optical disc; a front photodetector 17 that receives part of the light ejected from the laser 11; a division circuit 22 that divides an RF signal output from the photodetector 18 using a front optical signal output from the front optical-detector 17; and an RF detection circuit 23 that detects the RF signal from the signal divided in the division circuit 22.
