PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottom structure of a manhole capable of dispensing with the manufacturing of a fiber-reinforced plastic-made post mounting type prewhirl tank and a frame, and simplifying installation work at a manhole installation site to reduce the labor of the installation work. SOLUTION: A manhole bottom body 24 comprises a pair of prewhirl sections 3A and 3B having downward recesses wherein suction ports 13 of pumps P1 and P2 are inserted, inflow channels 4 and 5 generating a prewhirl currents in the same direction R2 as rotative directions R1 of vane wheels of pumps P1 and P2 in the prewhirl sections 3A and 3B by leading soil water flowing into a manhole 1 to the prewhirl sections 3A and 3B and discharging curved-pipe mounting seats 6A and 6B provided by making displacement to one side of the prewhirl sections 3A and 3B, and it is constituted of a monolithic molded article of mortar or concrete.
