<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and precisely confirm a position of a target of a thermal spraying gun, and to improve safety of teaching a spraying position. <P>SOLUTION: A directing point indicator 20 for thermal spraying is provided with an indicator body 21 fittable to a spray injecting opening of the thermal spraying gun 10, a flange 22 connected thereto and abutting to the end surface of the thermal spraying gun, a small diameter neck 23 connected thereto, and a head body 24 having a large diameter base part connected thereto and a tip end 25 tapering therefrom, and all of which are made of a flexible rubber or a synthetic resin. Furthermore, the directing point indicator 20 for thermal spraying is provided with a center hole 26 extending from the indicator body 21 into the head body 24 and opening through the end surface of the indicator body 21, and a stem 27 inserted by pressure into the center hole 26.
