<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make time display of a clock easy to see, depending on the placement of the clock. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary dial indicates time information and, in parallel with this, a horizontal placement sensor 26 detects the state of placement of a case 11.
