PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple vehicle detecting device which can be applied even to any road other than specified, and which can be easily set up and carried. SOLUTION: This vehicle detecting device for detecting a vehicle traveling on a road is provided with a main body 4 and a plurality of pressure sensing sensors 5 arranged along the surface of the main body 4 in a fixed direction, and the main body 4 is set on the road so that the fixed direction can match the direction almost orthogonal to the traveling direction of the vehicle.
