PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a tire cord at low cost. SOLUTION: A long tire fabric 3 woven by inserting weft yarns 13 to many warp yarns 6 at a required interval in the longitudinal direction is wound in a roll shape. Two or more of the warp yarns 6 to be tire cords are independently cut off one after another from the selvage part of the woven fabric of the wound body, and taken out from the axis direction of the wound body. The two or more warp yarns 6 are twisted and wound on a winding bobbin 12 so as to be taken out by a uniform tension. A supporting stand 21 supporting the bobbin 12 so as to be freely turnable is rotatably driven around a rotary axis, and the two or more cords taken out from the bobbin 12 are separated and taken out by two or more taking-out pulleys 23.
