<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase synchronous circuit for synchronizing a phase of an output signal from a voltage-controlled oscillator to a phase of an input signal and attaining the speeding-up and stabilization of the drawing-in of phase synchronization. <P>SOLUTION: In the phase synchronous circuit including a phase comparison section 1, a charge pump 2, a loop filter 3, and a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) 4, comparing a phase of a first input signal Fr received by the phase comparison section 1 with a phase of a second input signal Fv given to the phase comparison section 1, with the frequency of the first input signal Fr matched with the frequency of the second input signal Fv resulting from an output signal from the voltage-controlled oscillator 4, and controlling the voltage-controlled oscillator 4 to synchronize the phase of the first input signal Fr with the phase of the second input signal Fv, the phase comparison section 1 comprises a first phase comparator 11 having a dead band for phase comparison between the first and second input signals Fr, Fv and a second phase comparator 12 wherein no phase comparison dead band for the first and second input signals Fr, Fv exists. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
