<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member which can be produced at a lower price than a conventional optical member with an antireflective fufnction, can be mass-produced while maintaining the same quality, and has a superior antireflective function. <P>SOLUTION: At specified positions of an incidence optical member, a plurality of fine recesses and/or protrusions are formed. The recesses and/or protrusions may be 0.05 to 0.5 μm in mean depth or mean height and ≤0.5 μm in mean distance between adjacent recesses or protrusions, and in this case, the mean depth or mean height of the recesses or protrusions may be 0.2 to 2 times as large as the mean distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
