<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel control device of an industrial vehicle to prevent generating of transmission shock when the advancing direction is reversely selected with a forward and backward selection means during traveling. <P>SOLUTION: The travel control device has a detection sensor 11 of the forward and backward selecting direction detecting the selected advancing direction, and a forward clutch and a reverse clutch which switch the advancing direction. The travel control device is equipped with a transmission 19 transmitting an engine 18 driving torque to driving wheels, a brake 23 braking the vehicle, a vehicle speed sensor 13 detecting vehicle speed, and a controller 10. The controller 10 gradually decelerates by the brake 23 when the detected selected advancing direction is switched, and controls a deceleration torque and acceleration torque so as to weaken acceleration fluctuation around the point of time when the advancing direction reverses by controlling an engaging force of advancing or reversing clutch and a brake force of the brake 23 according to the selected advancing direction just before the detected vehicle speed becomes zero. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
