摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift control device for an automatic transmission capable of securing travel by fixed gear ratio according to manual operation in a manual gearing mode and capable of obtaining acceleration required for passing by pressing down an accelerator pedal. SOLUTION: In the case that the manual gearing mode is selected, a MAP1 is referred to by a step 101, and a vehicle speed VSP and a throttle opening TVO are read by steps 102, 103. By a step 104, a gear step is determined by manual operation or according to the vehicle speed VSP based on the MAP1 by a step 105 until the opening TVO exceeds a setting valueα. By steps 106 to 110, the automatic transmission is controlled to the gear step determined by the manual operation or the gear step determined by the step 105 and the procedure returns to the step 101. Then, the steps 101 to 104 are executed and, when the opening TVO exceeds the setting valueαin the step 104, a step 111 switches to a MAP 2 and a gear step is determined by manual operation or according to the vehicle speed VSP and the opening TVO based on the MAP2 by a step 112.
