<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production instruction method which can indicate the upper limit value of an adequate quantity in a continuous production to each production facility constituting a job shop type production line in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The production instruction method comprises a data input step 11 which inputs information on processing procedure for an object to be produced, information on facilities used in each processing process and on processing time, and information on time required for switching each processing condition in instruction object facilities given the production instructions; a point process selection step 12 which sets an influence range by the production by the instruction object facilities as a point process on the downstream process side after the instruction object facilities following the processing procedure; a production index calculating step 13 which calculates a productivity index in a process section up to the downstream point process after the instruction object facilities (inclusive); and a continuous production quantity determination/production instruction step which indicates the upper limit quantity value in the continuous production in the instruction object facilities based on the productivity index. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
