DYNAMIC PRESSURE GAS BEARING MOTOR

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to establish radius of a bearing largely so as to obtain sufficient stiffness of a radial bearing and simultaneously to prevent lock of the bearing and wear powder from scattering outside a bearing in a dynamic pressure gas bearing motor.

SOLUTION: Deformation in the inner peripheral surface 82 of a hub 3 in the motor can be suppressed as small as possible when installing a record disk 9 on the hub 3 and partial contact in the radial bearing can be suppressed to prevent the bearing from locking by providing an annular groove 11 on lower end 87 of the hub 3. In addition, the motor provides a protuberance part 12 on a base 7 in circumferential direction, constitutes a labyrinth seal by fitting with the annular groove 11, and can prevent the wear dust produced on the bearing surface from scattering outside the bearing.
