PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal having an imaging unit which can conduct macro image by a simple method. SOLUTION: The portable terminal 1 includes the imaging unit 2 which can conduct macro image in a housing 14. An opening 4 is formed on one side face of the housing 14. The imaging unit 2 is provided in the housing 14 so that an optical axis is directed toward the opening 4 at the position separated by a predetermined distance from the opening 4.
