PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which comfortably takes a moving picture even on the occasion accompanying with the manual fluctuation correction. SOLUTION: The digital camera has an actuator 66 for shifting a CCD 5 with center at a reference position (center) according to the detected manual fluctuation of the camera by a vibration sensor 40. At a live view (moving picture photographing) mode,the integration start frequency of an integrator 46 is gradually decreased from a high frequency to a low frequency for one second after the manual fluctuation start. A switch 69 is closed only at the correction start to add an initial deviation quantity as an offset, thereby slowly returning the CCD 5 to the center for one second. As the result,the quick moving picture photographing is possible even at the occasion accompanying with the manual fluctuation correction, and a display with a feeling of unfitness such as sudden moving of the screen, etc. is avoidable to improve the comfortableness.
