PURPOSE: A notebook computer is provided to use power of the notebook computer in order to use a desired USB(Universal Serial Bus) device in a state that the power of the notebook computer is turned off. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer(110) controls power supply to a USB port when the notebook computer is operated. A power supply(130) supplies power by control of the microcomputer. A USB switch(140) switches the power supplied to the USB port from the power supply by receiving the control of the microcomputer. The USB port receives the power by the USB switch. To supply the power to the USB port even if the power of the notebook computer is turned off, the switch(160), an OR gate(120), and an FET(Field Effect Transistor) gate(170) are equipped in addition.
