PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor having a housing fitted with a compressor mechanism and an exhaust chamber inside. SOLUTION: The first port is arranged to feed compressed gas and oil from the compressor mechanism to the exhaust chamber. Check valves enable the compressed gas and oil to enter the exhaust chamber through the first port. The second port within the exhaust chamber establishes an inner-housing outlet for discharge of the compressed gas and oil after their passage through a compressor assembly. The second port is positioned vertically below the first port in the lower half portion of the exhaust chamber, and because of the second port, the volume of oil that can be stored within the exhaust chamber is limited. The second port can be established by means of an exhaust pipe that passes through the housing at the flat portion thereof, and based on this arrangement, it becomes easier to weld the pipe to the housing.
