OPENABLE/CLOSABLE ROOF FOR CONTAINER OR THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically open/close a roof by automatically folding and expanding a waterproof sheet, and at the same time, to efficiently fold the sheet without hanging it downward when the sheet is folded in an openable/closable roof for a container or the like for which the waterproof sheet is stretched on the opening of the upper surface of the container or a truck deck. SOLUTION: The waterproof sheet 2 is stretched in the width direction of the container 1 or the like, and is formed into a hood type by supporting the waterproof sheet 2 by a U-shaped supporting frame 7 which can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the container 1 or the like with a proper interval. The supporting frame 7 has a folding structure by connecting post parts 7a with each other by a link mechanism 9 through the combination of link arms 9a and 9b each other. An axially attaching part 10 of the link arm or an arm extended part 11 from the axially attaching part 10 are made protrusile upward from the supporting frame 7, and a connecting member 12 is bridged between the projected upper ends in the width direction of the container 1 or the like to constitute the openable/closable roof for the container or the like.
