A waste processing apparatus (1) comprising a plurality of waste-receiving compartments (2a-d) and a waste processor (8), wherein the waste processor and the plurality of waste-receiving compartments are movable relative to each other from a first position in which waste from one of the plurality of waste-receiving compartments may be transferred to the waste processor to a second position in which waste from another of the plurality of waste-receiving compartments may be transferred to the waste processor.
