The method is for the coordination and execution of distribution of media constituent parts and control data which connect several networks and receiving apparatus connected with one or more of these networks. A complete title is divided into several constituent parts. These constituent parts are divided into several modules. A media constituent part of a title is communicated to a receiving apparatus with a request for the complete title, with information as to where further control data and other constituent parts of the title can be found. Further control data is communicated to the receiving apparatus after receipt of a response in which this further control data is queried. The media constituent parts are made available so that they can be accepted by the receiving apparatus. A response is composed for transmission to the network, as a reaction to the demand for a complete title. The response also includes data received from and in the name of the user.
