<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system accurately determining the mental states of a higher animal, especially of a human. <P>SOLUTION: A server 10 comprising a mental state determination system transmits a game program to a user's terminal 20. An "operation speed signal" which shows the operation speed of the terminal 20 by a user according to an event in the game appearing in the user's terminal 20 is transmitted from the terminal 20 to the server 10. Then, the reaction speed of the user is measured based on the operation speed signal and "dispersion" of a plurality of reaction speeds of the same user is calculated. The mental state is determined based on the calculated "dispersion" and "first data" showing the correspondence between the dispersion and the mental state, and information related to the determination result is transmitted from the server 10 to the user's terminal 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
