METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING COLOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color liquid crystal display device which realizes a cost reduction by reducing the number of lithography processes.

SOLUTION: A gate electrode and a gate bus line are formed in the first PR process shown in a step S201. An island of a TFT section is formed on a gate insulation film in the second PR process shown in a step S202 and thereafter a source electrode, drain electrode and drain bus line are formed by utilizing a halftone exposure method or two times exposing method to be described later. Respective color filters of R, G and B are formed in the pixel section in the third to fifth PR processes shown in steps S203 to S205. A black matrix is formed in a region covering the island and excluding the color filters in the sixth PR process shown in a step S206. Contact holes are formed in the source electrode section and gate and drain terminal sections in the seventh PR process shown in a step S207. A pixel electrode is formed in the eighth PR process shown in a step S208.
