PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system capable of reducing detection leakage of an alarm device by only adding slight processing without increasing the number of components of a self-sounding type tag as compared with a conventional system, and raising an alarm of the alarm device together with the self-sounding type tag, and to provide the self-sounding type tag used therefor. SOLUTION: This self-sounding type tag has a resonant circuit comprising a coil wound around a ferrite core and a capacitor connected to the coil, and has various components necessary for issuing of a first alarm. The resonant circuit functions as a reception means for receiving a notification signal, and has a function varying the intensity of a specific frequency component included in the notification signal by generating an electric wave of the same phase and the same frequency as the specific frequency component. At least one of components of an electroconductive material among the various components of the self-sounding type tag is enwrapped or sandwiched inside the ferrite core. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
