PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly apply a protective layer forming material by bringing a roller into close contact with the outside surface of a vehicle with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A roller mechanism part 34 is provided in the top end part of a robot as an end effector and is provided with a rocking shaft 72 to which the roller 48 is connected to be freely rocked.
