PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the miniaturization of an apparatus for supplying aromatic substances to a space is difficult in the case of making a spreading means, pipings dedicated by each kind of the aromatic substances since there are hundreds of thousands of kinds of aromatic substances which human being senses and at least 100 kinds of aromatic substances have to be supplied by the apparatus. SOLUTION: In the aroma apparatus, a plurality of cartridges used as places for storing and evaporating the aromatic substances in common are prepared and mounted to a housing holder. In this housing holder, a shutter of a simple mechanism by which a gas containing the aromatic substances can be taken out only from an optional cartridge is constituted. The shutter prevents spreading of unwanted aromatic substances. Thus, the apparatus can be miniaturized by the simple mechanism, and unnecessary aroma such as lingering aroma is prevented even when installing the apparatus in the neighborhood of an examinee, thereby the aromatic substances can speedily be selected.
