PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive support structure of a simple constitution for measuring structures. SOLUTION: The support structure comprises a casing 5 integrally provided with a top plate 4 in parallel with a base plate 1 fixed to a horizontal surface of a foundation 2; a load cell 7 mounted to and vertically set at a receiving base 6 set at a center part of the base plate 1 of the casing 5; a support member 8 positioned inside a circular hole part 4a formed at a center part of the top plate 4 and having an upper end protruded above the upper surface of the top plate 4 and a lower end oscillation-freely mounted to a spherical surface part 7b at the upper end of the load cell 7; a mounting plate 9 received by the support member 8 protruded above the upper surface of the top plate 4; and a floating means interposed between the top pate 4 and the mounting plate 9. A gap is formed between the inner surface of the hole part 4a and the outer surface of the support member 8 within a tolerance of horizontal oscillations.
