<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable each multimedia communication terminal participating in a multi-point conference service to confirm the changes in communication and service of the multi-point conference service. <P>SOLUTION: When an incoming call arrives from one of the multimedia communication terminals, a terminal control/management unit 1 determines whether the multimedia communication terminal may participate in the conference, and notifies a terminal state monitoring unit 3 of the unit 1 whether the multimedia communication terminal may be connected as a change in a communication state via a line interface unit 12. The unit 3 detects the change in communication in the multi-point conference service by this notification, and a terminal information storage unit 2 notifies a guiding video/audio information processing unit 4 that the terminal has participated in the conference service as the change in communication state, together with the information about the terminal having participated in the conference. The unit 4 transmits guiding multimedia information indicating that the new terminal has participated in the multi-point conference to the multimedia communication terminals which have already participated in, via a multiplexing/demultiplexing unit 11 and the line interface 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
