<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas scrubber capable of sufficiently catching and removing PM (especially soot) in exhaust gas exhausted from an internal combustion engine such as diesel engine. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas scrubber comprises an inlet pipe for taking in the exhaust gas exhausted from the internal combustion engine, a dust collecting box connected to the intake pipe and provided with a fiber dust collecting means arranged therein, an exhaust gas inverting part connected to the dust collecting box and positioned forward in an extended direction of the inlet pipe, and an exhaust pipe connected to the dust collecting box. The exhaust gas inverting part comprises a cylindrical main body with a base end connected to the dust collecting box, and an exhaust gas inverting bottom plate disposed at an end of the cylindrical main body opposite to the dust collecting box.
