PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for listing up components to be exchanged so that the components whose fault is predicted and the same kinds of the components can be exchanged simultaneously at once. SOLUTION: A maintenance-use computer 3 retrieves and lists up and displays configuring components categorized into attribute information under the same conditions as those of configuring components where the result of the diagnosis of the operating conditions of the configuring components of an external storage device 2 of a computer system 1 connected through a network 4 to the computer 3 for maintenance is far from a desired value.
