PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle metals, a resin or the like with high efficiency by separating a different kind of a metal or a metal and a resin or the like from a material to be crushed wherein a different kind of the metal is bonded or the metal and the resin or the like are bonded to crush the same into a predetermined size. SOLUTION: This waste treatment apparatus is constituted so that a rotor 5, which has a plurality of swing hammers 6 mounted thereon in the width direction thereof, is provided in a crushing chamber 4, an impact liner 24 having protrusions 25 formed thereto on the side of the swing hammers 6 of the rotor 5 is provided to the inner surface of the crushing chamber over the range from the charging port 2 to the discharge port 3 of the crushing chamber and uneven parts 28 for crushing an object D to be crushed between the swing hammers 6 and the protrusions 25 of the impact linear 24 are formed to the swing hammers 6. The gaps S between the swing hammers 6 and the impact liner 24 are formed so as to become narrow gradually from the charging port to the discharge port to crush the object D to be crushed by impact, friction and twist actions while separating the same at every material.
