PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer alloy fiber different from conventional polymer blend fibers, scarcely containing coarse polymer coagulation particles and excellent in dispersion uniformity. SOLUTION: This polymer alloy fiber is provided by forming a sea-islands structure formed by a hardly dissolvable polymer as sea and an easily soluble polymer as islands wherein the islands form stripe-shaped structure, and having≤3 % ratio of the area occupied by the islands having≥200 nm diameter in the total area of the islands.
