PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing carbon black by which the carbon black having a small mix rate of grit can industrially efficiently be produced; and to provide a method for producing the carbon black. SOLUTION: Each nozzle 21 has two or more exhaust nozzles 31, and the exhaust nozzles 31 are arranged in the direction crossing the flow direction of a high-temperature combustion gas flow when forming the carbon black by exhausting stock oil from the two or more nozzles 21 symmetrically arranged in the high-temperature combustion gas flow.
