PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of a liquid crystal display and the liquid crystal display for maximizing a moving image quality improvement effect and for preventing flicker by setting simple inversion and an image display system in a driving system for repeating image display and black display in the case of displaying a moving image. SOLUTION: In the driving method of the liquid crystal display having a pixel region surrounded by scanning lines and signal lines, polarity of voltage to be impressed to the pixel region is inverted by every two frames and it comprises a process for inverting scanning line of the even-th lines in the even-th frames and for inverting scanning lines of the odd-th lines in the odd-th frames or a process for inverting the scanning lines of the even-th lines in the odd-th frames and for inverting the scanning lines of the odd-th lines in the even-th frames.
