PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger rationally provided with a joint part allowing medium to flow in or out. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger provided with a tube, a tank, and the joint part is constituted in such a way that a plurality of members are brazed in a furnace, a support member supporting the joint part is provided in the tank, the tank and the support member are brazed, and the joint part and the support member are brazed. Diameter of an opening part of the tank connecting a pipe body in the joint part is set to be smaller than diameter of the pipe body. The outer shape of the pipe body has a tapered shape in which its terminal part can be inserted into the opening part, the terminal part is brazed while it is press-fitted in the opening part or a flange member seated around the opening part is mounted on the pipe body, and the terminal part of the pipe body is inserted into the opening part.
