摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotor for a rotating electric machine, which can lessen the inertia by shortening the actual length of a rotating shaft. SOLUTION: A rotor yoke 8 is provided, projecting in the radial direction, around the rotating shaft 7. The rotor yoke 8 is shaped like a hollow cylinder. A permanent magnet 9 is supported by the periphery of the hollow cylindrical rotor yoke 8. A section 7b of the rotating shaft projected outward from one end in the axial direction of the rotor yoke 8 is shaped like a hollow cylinder which continues from the end plate 8a of the yoke which closes one end of the rotor yoke 8 continuously. The other end in the axial direction of the rotor yoke 8 is opened. The section of the rotating shaft, projected toward the outside from the other end in the axial direction of the rotor yoke 8 is made of a solid shaft 7c which is provided with a yoke end plate 8b at its end. The yoke end plate 8b at the end of the solid shaft 7c blocks the opening of the other end in the axial direction of the rotor yoke 8, thereby fixing it. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
