PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales and rental case consisting of a case body and a case lid, which is used for selling a recording medium such as a disk and also can be changed into a cover case for receiving a rental case for rent, wherein a sheet with words of a song or the like can be sandwiched in the case. SOLUTION: The case is equipped with a base surface center of the case body 1 and a mount 6 on which the recording medium such as the disk 5 is mounted, and also includes an upper lid 9 movable toward the bottom at the upper end of the case lid 2. A sheet holder 16a is formed at a longitudinal rim of the upper lid 9, and another sheet holder 16b is provided on a longitudinal rim of a base surface 4b of the case lid.
