PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move or evacuate an induction heating device 2 to a waiting position 18 even if a bar 1 is stopped directly under the device 2, and also to secure sufficient rigidity of table rollers before and behind the device 2, concerning an induction heating device which is arranged on a hot rolling line and heats the whole width direction of a bar. SOLUTION: The induction heating device 2 has inductors 3, 4 composed of an iron core 5 and a coil 6. The inductors are arranged facing each other above and below the passing position of the bar 1. The upper inductor 3 is held by a stand 8 movable along a rail 9, and both of the upper inductor 3 and the lower inductor 4 are widthwise movable between a heating position 17 on the rolling line and the waiting position 18 on a side of the rolling line. The table rollers 13 before and behind the induction heating device 2 are connected with each other through a structural member 14 at least at one side in the width direction.
