<p>A band saw divides slaughtered animal cadavers in situ and has a U-shaped frame (4, 5, 6) with cutting blade (8) and motor (3). The frame is suspended by a metal bracket (10) and pivot (13) from an overhead hoist. The two-part pivot allows freedom of movement in the roll plane (C) and pitch (B) plane. The band saw centre of gravity is located 40-100 mm below the and in line with the pivot (13).</p> |
