FIELD: shipbuilding; marine propeller and reduction gear units, mainly controllable pitch propellers combined with reduction gears. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes reduction gear with drive and driven shafts mounted in its body; driven shaft is connected with controllable pitch propeller provided with pitch sensor and pitch changing mechanism having nut screwed on rod. Rod is connected with blade turning mechanism and pitch sensor; nut is set in rotation by means of gear train from drive shaft of reduction gear. Rod and nut are mounted inside hollow propeller shaft of reduction gear coaxially with it. Said gear train includes two gear wheels secured to nut and gears connected with these wheels mounted on drive shaft of reduction gear coaxially with it; they are provided with controllable friction clutches. Gear ratio of one of gear pairs is lesser and gear ratio of other gear pair is more than gear ratio between drive and driven shafts of reduction gear; threaded part of nut of pitch changing mechanism is separated from inner space of reduction gear body by means of two covers provided with sealing rings. ^ EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions; reduced mass; simplified construction; ease of control; enhanced operational reliability. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
